Poeticism

A poem depends
utterly on its
poet’s point of view.

The poet depends
on words to order
worlds of random things.

Poets utter words
for stuttering worlds
to shine the darkness.

By such utterance
they express feeling
of utter be-ing.

  1. Amazing! I have danced around this word all my life, but I don’t think I have ever stopped to consider the varied definitions. From Merriam-Webster: Utter: adjective: complete, total; adverb (utterly): carried to the utmost point or highest degree; verb: to make (a particular sound), to say (something).

Puts a different light on the Genesis story where God said…”Let there be…” "Utterly" "speaking" into existence.
